Did she really say that?

Today I had to be a guest on a local radio show for my job so Darrell took Josy to school. When they arrived the teacher was telling Darrell that yesterday at lunch Josy was saying how much she loved her DADDY!!!! When the teacher ask if she loved mommy? Josy responded with "I LOVE MY DADDY!!!!" The teacher then proceeded to say oh what would mommy say if she heard you? Josy said "Oh she would cry like a baby!" Now is that a rascal or what? She already has it all figured out. I am posting a picture of her and her BELOVED DADDY working on the deck. Notice the rain boots they have been her favorite for 2 years now!!!!

HERE GOES....

I am off to a slow start at getting this blog up and going. I am very computer illiterate so that makes it even more difficult. I was just thinking how May is going to be here and I am still no further on this blog so....... I am going to try and commit myself to do better. My kids are growing and time is fleeting. They are doing so much everyday that I want to remember. Since January we have been very busy. Johnathan is such a fine young man. He has grown soooo tall and I can hardly believe that next Thursday he will be 17!!! What I have a 17 year old???When I look in the mirror I realize that yes indeed I do have enough wrinkles to be a 17 year olds mom!!!! He has been set on the fact that he wants to be a Diesel Mechanic when he graduates until recently. He is taking the Dual path class load right now so that is good. I have to admit I would much rather him be a doctor or lawyer but he is not interested in that. TOOOO much of a redneck! Really I want him to do what brings him happiness cause in the end it's his life. He has a very level head on his shoulders and I know he will continue to try and do what God would have him to do. He is dating a sweet, beautiful girl that goes to church with us. She has been such a positive influence on him and for that I am thankful. As far as Josy goes, well she is still the firecracker she always has been..... She will be going to school in August and I am VERY VERY sad about that decision. Since she will only be 5 in Sept. I am really depending on her preschool teachers advise. She says she will be BORED if I do not send her on. She is such a smart strong-willed girl. She keeps us hopping. We recently got a kitten. A beautiful Persian we named Sophie Lou. She drags that poor cat around everywhere. Sophie just lays limp like a rag doll. The other day I heard her in her playroom saying.....to the cat....."your the best sister eber" It was priceless! When we ask her if she would want a real sister she says NO babies poop and stink. She and her daddy were outside today and she was trying to talk him into saying he didn't like babies either! I do believe she is afraid of not being the center of attention. I think all of this is coming from the fact that my sister-in-law just had a beautiful baby boy. This has really concerned Josy that we are going to get a baby too. Although she understands that mommy can not have any more babies. he reason I know this is because she went to school and told her friends that "Mommy can't have babies cause her belly's cracked!" Who know's where she came up with that! She does not care to state her opinion and we are trying to teach her how to be truthful yet tactful. SOOO PRAY HARD!!!! She poked her friend in the eye at school the other day because her friend scared her. Then she proceeded to tell me it was an accident. Accident??? I think not!!!! and her friend ask forgiveness???? What??? I am very thankful for the fact that she DOES TELL THE TRUTH. Even if it reflects herself in a poor way! Her speech is getting better. She is trying to read and is doing a fine job! Her favorite thing to do is draw. Monday night our dog, Brownie got ran over and died! We were upset and she came in immediately to her art easel and drew the scenario out. She drew Brownie on the road and a car.... then she drew God up in the sky and put a line from Brownie to God. When we ask her about her picture she said see Brownie went to be with God!!!! Such a smart girl!!!!! Darrell is still at the same job and traveling less. I am working 3 days a week while Jos is in Preschool. I am going to try to post some pictures. Remember all this is new to me soooo bear with me and we will see where this goes!!
