Melee's First Snow Adventure!!!

A not so happy girl!!!!!
She decided she was more than ready to go in the house.
She would much rather be in the house sipping hot chocolate!
She is like her mommy!!!

We were eating at the IHOP today after church and Josy was especially "clingy". She kept running her fingers through my hair. She,as matter of fact like, said mommy you need to go see Rhonda (my beautician) so she can paint your hair. How cute is that? When I was putting Melee down tonight Josy was watching. She said she wanted to watch because when she grows up she is going to have a baby. She said I was such a good mommy and she wants to be like me. I melted. It is such a huge responsibility that we have as mothers to be the kind of role model God would want us to be. I pray He helps me and gives me wisdom daily.......

We went to eat with Papaw and MaMaw tonight and Melee started drinking from a straw. She was SO PROUD of herself. She would take a drink and look at us all and clap!!!! Of course we were all clapping too!!!! She is learning so much so quickly!!!!

Melee is no longer taking a bottle! I decided she would do fine without it. She is secure enough with us now that she doesn't need to find her security in a bottle any longer! I rock her while she takes her sippy! Such a precious opportunity to continue the bonding!!!!

Johnathan didn't start school......

The day came and went and he decided he no longer wanted to pursue a career as a diesel mechanic. I am so confused! This is all he has talked about for years. I just have to remind myself that I didn't know what I wanted at 18 years old. He is working 40 plus hours a week. I am hoping he will decide soon what direction he wants to go with his life. I told him to pray and ask God what His plan is for him. I am on my knees..........
