Down On The Farm!!!!

This year is the first year I have had a garden in years. Josy is such an outdoor girl she couldn't wait to get started. She was so cute hauling the plants in her John Deere. She wanted to plant all of our food, including potato chips!!! She thought she could grow potato chips and candy. I love the innocence of children.
Hard at work!!! I took this picture so one day she can look back and remember. The reason being..... I have a picture of me when I was her age taken in the front yard next to a small tree. That small tree is one of the massive shade trees in our front yard today. Just history and memories....call me a sentimentalist........

Johnathan is going to be sooo surprised!!!!

At the Dentist!!!

Johnathan will have to have a tooth inplant. We were watching a video about the procedure. He will have to wait at least 3 months due to all the trauma from the accident. Turns out the Land Rover that they were in was totalled. Thank you Lord for your protection on these boys!!!
Johnathan looks like he is so excited to be there. He could care less
if he even has a front tooth.

A COLLISION~AGAIN!!!!!

We were on our way back from the beach when we got the call every parent dreads. Johnathan had been involved in a wreck. When he called his dad on the cell phone, we were just a few miles away. God's timing is ALWAYS perfect!!! We were able to reach him before the ambulance. He and his buddy, Lee, were on their way to our house. Johnathan had opened the sunroof and it changed the wind flow in the vehicle. A taco bell bag blew in front of Lees face. He took out a ditch (A COUPLE OF TIMES). Luckily, the boys were not hurt too bad. Johnathan had one of his teeth knocked out. Yes, It was a front tooth. He is a real Genuine Redneck now!! It did cut his ear pretty bad. He had to have stitches. It will be a long time before I leave John Boy alone again for the weekend!!!

At the Emergency Room waiting to see the doctor.

His poor ear! I took this picture so he could see what it looked like.

FUN at the Beach!!!!!

We made a quick run to the beach for Mothers Day and had so much fun. We have never been to Hilton Head so we decided to give it a whirl. Here are just a few of the pictures. The only thing missing is our boy!!!! We miss him so bad. I wish he were here with us!!!!
Josy loves the sand. She always lays in it and likes to make sand angels!!! Daddy making a sand castle! Notice the sun screen that he has on his arms. He always and I mean ALWAYS gets burnt. Poor fellow!
Our Beach Princess!!! Hopefully next year we will have 2 beach princesses!!!! Daddy decided he better put on a shirt! Believe it or not he didn't end up looking like a lobster!!! Gotta love that man!!!
This is Josy pretending she is a puppy and digging in the sand!!!
Here is one, and I mean one of the holes she dug this trip!!
She LOVES her goggles!! Ready for more fun!!!We found several shells and sand dollars. We also saw a dead jelly fish. Heading to breakfast! Looks like these two are up to something?? Even cereal is better at the beach!! SMILE HONEY!!! This is the dead jellyfish! Yuck! Josy loved seeing it and wanted to bring it home to show her cousins. UHM, No!
I LOVE THESE SHOTS OF HER AND HER DADDY!!! Shows the
true excitement she had on this trip!!!
Remember I said Josy and daddy were up to something at breakfast? Well....they arranged for me to have a full body massage on the beach in this cabana.....AM I LUCK OR WHAT???? It was sooo relaxing and so sweet of daddy to think of this......Thank you honey!!And while I was getting my massage this is how Josy kept daddy busy. She is such a water dog. Not the least bit of fear. Which in turn scares us, especially her daddy, to death!!! I hope Johnathan can come with us on the next trip. Next time we will have our sweet Melee Faith. Can't wait~~~~~~~~

Leave for Hilton Head!

We were on our way to Hilton Head and Johnathan had stayed at home. He had to work and he is not very fond of the beach anyway. We were about an hour outside of Hilton head and we got "THE CALL." You remember Johnathan just got his car painted~~well.....it is needing to go back to the collision repair. He was so upset~he had pulled out of the school to get some fuel and the hood flew up. Yea, while he was driving. He was able to get pulled over and praise the Lord no one was hurt. The hood has a lot of damage as well as the roof. He was really upset. I am really sad for him. He has put so much work into this car. He pulled it together and went to work. Poor guy!!!

Johnathan's 18th Birthday Celebration!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNATHAN!!!!! WE LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!!!!My Mom stopped by to bring the cake. I had Johnathan come up from the garage to get a photo. Of course, Josy thought she had to be included. I love this picture!!! Nana and Johnathan are always joking around!! I think this captures the expression they both have when they are teasing and having fun. Although by their expressions it looks like Nana has one up on him.
18 candles!!!
YIKES!!! Where has the years gone??? MAY ALL YOUR WISHES COME TRUE~~~~
Johnathan and his GREAT Grandmother!!! She was there the day he was born. She rubbed my back and kept Darrell sane while I was in labor for 36 hours!!! She kept telling me after he was born she thought he would never get here. Believe me I was thinking the same thing. She was at the hospital while I was laboring the whole time. She had decided to go get a cup of coffee and forgot her purse. After all, it had been 36 hours nothing was happening quickly!!! When she came back through the door to get her purse they were wheeling me to the delivery room. Everthing happened VERY VERY QUICKLY after a long labor. I remember Darrell standing on one side and a nurse on the other. They were both encouraging me that it would not be much longer. Within minutes he was born~~~and my world became a better place!!!!! The doctor handed me the most beautiful baby in the world. He had 10 tiny fingers and 10 tiny toes. Yes~I counted them several times. As soon as Johnathan was born I told them to open the delivery room door so Mamaw could see. She was standing there and beaming. It was a sight I will never forget.
