Let the little Children teach us......
So today I was mowing and I came around the house. I was a little annoyed and Darrell was standing there. He of course ask me by the look on my face what was wrong. Well normally I really watch what I say in front of little ears. Especially JOSY because if there are 500 good things she picks up on the bad. So anyway I began my RANT...... I said "I am so mad I could spit nails and nail down the tin on Robby's ( my dear godfather that owns the farm across the road) barn roof. Robby if you are reading this I appreciate all you have always done for me and my family:) I love you and thank you for your influence in my life! Anyway back to the story of my sinful actions. Well my dear Josy took it literally and thought I was going to actually spit nails. This really concerned her and she said"Mommy you can not put nails in your mouth they have germs and what if some got on our driveway we would get a flat tire." Well I immediately calmed myself and said "Oh honey I am not really going to spit nails." She said "Well you were not being very nice and you have to be the bestest mommy in the world so you have to try very hard, ok?" It broke my heart! I apologized to her and she hugged me and told me how much she loved me. It was a scene that had been written many times in the way I had dealt with her. She was in a way mirroring her mommy. I mean the way she had seen me deal with her. I looked at Darrell and said "Wow that was like a word from God himself!" All I can say is it truly humbled me!!!!!
I AM SOOOO PROUD OF MY SON!!!!!!
So after the ordeal with Josy and the nail spitting I was working in the rose bed and Johnathan pulled up. He and his friend Andy had been at pull apart and at my dad's house. Pull apart is like a huge junk yard that has cars you can take parts off of. Every REDNECKS mall :) Anyway My brother has been having car trouble so they went to his house to see what they could do to help. My brother has had 7 or 8 people look at it already. So Johnathan took a look and within no time it was running!!!! He has a true GOD given talent in this area-like his dad. He can fix anything. I am so proud of him and the young man he is becoming. So willing to help others when he can! I joke about him being a redneck-he is proud to call himself A REDNECK. I am proud to call him MY SON!!!!!!

BED TIME MUNIPULATION
Josy girl has ALWAYS had issues with bed time. She has been doing well getting to bed by 8:30 for the last couple of months UNTIL a few nights ago. She has been pulling out all the stops. The older she gets the more sensitive she gets. Anyway she can not stand for me to be upset with her. Usually when she is not obeying me I look at her and say "Look at mommy do you see how sad your actions are making me? I am not happy with you." Well she is a smart little firecracker and she used it against me the other night. We start her bed time routine normally around 7:30 (most nights) and it was already 8:45 and she was still not going to bed. Sophie, our cat ,was laying on the back of the couch where I was sitting and Josy said "look at that cat she is happy I am not happy Sophie gets to sleep with you!!!" UHMMMMM!! Well it was cute but it did not work. She RELUCTANTLY went to bed. Then last night she decided to try something that took me by TOTAL surprise. She was wanting to sleep with me. Darrell and I have been breaking her from this for a while. She starts out in her bed and comes to our bed around 5am. Since she will be going to Kindergaten we want her to get the rest she needs. Well anyway back to the last night scenario. She came down the stairs for like the 4th time and we told her to go back to bed. Well she continued to walk over to where I was sitting and said "I'm just going to pack all my toys and go back to China." Needless to say I was SHOCKED. Where was this coming from? She has been talking a lot about her looking different than mommy. We talk very openly with her about how God made us a family. So I felt certain that she was just pulling my strings. I gently told her that she could not go to China and live because we love her and we would miss her tooo much. I gave her a kiss and a hug!!!! She seemed happy and I changed the subject about how she had to go to sleep if she wanted to "work" with mommy tomorrow. I think she is munipulating her mommy at a young age, don't you? Well this mommy wasn't born yesterday!! LOL!!!

Memorial Weekend
We did not do anything out of the ordinary to celebrate. We stayed around the house and did basically nothing! Which to me is a good thing(most of the time)! I bought Josy a small pool because last year on vacation she was learning how to swim under water. She is not scared at all. She is like a fish and loves water. I on the other hand am a CHICKEN!!! So it scares me that she will drown. So I bought one that she can stand up in yet be deep enough that she can enjoy. I am posting a picture of her attempting to blow up the pool.
She INSISTED on blowing it up! She finally got tired and......
DAD TO THE RESCUE. She has to see if she can do everything by herself first!!!
Yes she is taking off her clothes! Good thing we live in the country! We told her to put her clothes back on and..........
Will this work? What a girl!!!!

Happy 7th Birthday Princess Alisa!!!! WE LOVE YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!
WHAT MORE COULD A GIRL WANT?????
My BESTEST friend in the whole world came over Saturday. She brought my FAVORITE Mocha from STARBUCKS. We set in the yard enjoying the wonderful sunshine and watching the girls play!!! She brought her boyfriends little girl Sierra. She and Josy had a super time. While the girls were playing and we were enjoying our coffee my beloved Johnathan and his friend Cody pressure washed the porch. If I did not know better I would have thought this was MOTHER'S DAY this weekend, instead of last weekend. Although, I did enjoy Stone Mountain it sure was nice to spend a Saturday morning with my Tammie!!!

Where Oh Where Has Her Panties Gone?
Since we have been back from our trip I have not been able to find ANY of Josy's panties!! Normally finding panties is not a problem as she has about 30 or 40 pair. No kidding!!! I ask her what she has managed to do with them and she says " I put them on and wore them ALL to school." I know that she did not wear ALL of them to school, but I am hopeful that she did not take them to school in her backpack and give them away. I would not put it past her! I do believe her teacher would have mentioned it, I hope! Well we have searched high and low and we are without panties! I do hate to buy more because I know the minute I do we will find them and what a waste of money that will be!!!

STONE MOUNTAIN
This past weekend we spent the weekend at Stone Mountain. We had a wonderful time. Below I have posted some pictures of our ADVENTURE. Josy was not to excited about the ride in the car. She kept saying this is soooo BORING. When we arrived at the motel we were checking in and Josy ask the man if he had any coloring books because she was bored. She is not scared to ask for her WANTS to be met. (EVEN BY A STRANGER!) We did have a great time. You will notice in one of the pictures that Josy is pulling up her britches. Yes this was the view almost the whole time. She got to where she would just hold them when she would run so they wouldn't fall down!!!! Poor thing!!! Also, she had her first experince with pop-rocks. You know the candy you put in your mouth and it fizzes. Darrell and Johnathan was so excited to surprise her with the fizzie candy, but it didn't phase her at all. They had more fun with it than she did.
