WAKE UP CALL

When I picked up Josy today we went to Wal-mart to shop. She was such a good girl! When we were in the car on the way home she made a comment that hit me HARD. She said "Mommy I want to be just like you when I grow up." Wow, I always knew she was watching me but for her to say those words struck me as a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY!!!! I want to be a mom that my children can respect and want to model their life after. But I want them to first and foremost see Jesus in my life. What a HUGE responsibility we have to God and as parents of these precious gifts from God.

BLESSINGS BEYOND MEASURE

THING THAT BLESSED ME THIS WEEK Being able to swing on my porch and enjoy the weather. Watching Josy jump on the trampoline with her daddy. Having friends that I can count on when I'm in a pinch (thanks Jen) Johnathan taking a trailer to school to get a load of cow poop for his papaw to fertilize his garden. I told you he was a redneck! But how he doesn't care to pull into school in front of his friends and haul home a load of CRAP for his papaw. LOL!!!! My mom is a huge dog lover. She has 2 that have been her "babies" for 15 or so years now and they are both getting in bad shape. In fact we are not sure that Poochie is going to make it much longer. We are going to be away for a couple of days and we are worried that something will happen to the dog while we are away. So Johnathan went out after church on Wed night and dug a hole for my mom's dog. Just in case we are gone. Such a sweet gesture! Looking at my new baby nephew and the wondrous miracle he is and how he has ALREADY blessed our whole family. HE IS SOOOO PERFECT!!!! JUST LIKE MY OTHER NEPHEW AND NEICE!!!! Being able to share a Sunday afternoon with "my daddy" and eat a great lunch that was prepared just because I wanted dressing. Thanks so much for making my favorites mamadon!!!! Going to Stone Mountain with my family for a relaxing weekend! Detals and pictures later!

Superwoman getting her rest!!!!!!

Yes, I said Superwoman! Josy DOES NOT like princesses. She really would rather be referred to as a Cowboy or an Indian if the truth be told!!!

JOSY CHRONICLES

Little things that Josy said and did this week that were just adorable. * * "I'm going to marry Isaac because he is a boy and he makes me happy." * * We were driving to school and Josy said she had a lot of letters to write. I ask her what she meant and she was talking about her Indian Party. That is what she wants for her birthday party to be this year. She is already planning and it is not until September. Such a party girl!!!!! * * Mamaw and Papaw had Josy come and help plant some watermelons in their garden and now she thinks she has to go check on HER MELONS. I explained to her that I think papaw is perfectly capable of taking care of them and she said OH but he needs my help. She LOVES to be outside working and digging in the dirt. * * I took Josy over to play with her cousins the other day. She always has a great time. Anyway, I was talking with my sister-in-law and Miss Josy came into the room and said that her younger cousin needed a diaper change. She said "HE WEELY STINKS!" So we talked a few more minutes and we left. In the car she was saying what a good time she had playing and that she had went ahead and changed the poopy diaper!!!! WHAT? She said her and his big sister(same age as Josy) changed him and did a "weely good job!":) I ask her what she did with the diaper and she said oh we put it in the trash. I am a little concerned what my dear sister-in-law found when she went into the room. I hope that she did not get a messy surprise. What will she do next???? * * Anytime we see someone who is Asian Josy starts saying "Ni-Hao" immediately!!! Really loud. She says you know that's SPANISH for Hello. So I explain that it is Chinese and she says NO ITS SPANISH!!!! You can not change her mind even when she is wrong. * * I have considered changing the name of this blog to "MISS DENNIS THE MENACE" What do you think??????

Oh, How I love Papaw and Mamadon's Dog

Josy has always had a love for animals. Especially Gizmo! I'll bet Gizmo was glad when we went home. Thanks Madonna for the wonderful lunch. You are the greatest cook!!!!

DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR ARMOR OF GOD????

Josy came out of her room and said look I have on the full armor of God. She came up with this attire all by herself. Priceless!!!!

WHO SPOILS THE CHILDREN????

So I had to work yesterday! I never work on Saturday so this was a big deal!!! Darrell was going to work on the deck and keep Josy! She really enjoys time with her dad, WORKING! So Darrell went to town to get Johnathan an air compressor. He is working on a mustang that was Darrell's first car. It will take lots of work but I am sure the guys will eventually get it done. Can you imagine how proud Darrell and Johnathan will be when it is drivable, yes I said DRIVABLE!!!!! I'll post some pictures of the way it looks now. Believe me it is a MESS! I want you to really appreciate the finished product. By knowing where it came from. Anyway, you'll have to follow the blog at least 10 years to see it. LOL!!!! Anyway, yesterday Darrell went and bought Josy a "tampalene." That is how she says it! SO CUTE! She has been wanting one FOREVER! So I go to work and the kiddos and dad go shopping!!! He is such a sweet daddy!!!!! This morning we woke up to get ready for Church and Darrell had a MIGRAINE. I hope it was not from keeping the kiddos yesterday! We decided to stay home from Church so he could rest and try to get over it before we are suppose to eat at my dad's this afternoon. I hope he is better so he can go. If not, I'll just have to eat his part! I am going to post pictures of Josy EARLY this morning after she dressed herself and went to JUMP!!!!! Also make sure your seated so you can view "THE SHOW CAR!!!!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNATHAN

This was me seventeen years ago and Poor Mamaw Pete wondering if you were even going to come after 36 hours labor. I can not believe it has been 17 years! As I think back the time has been just a flash in my memory! You are growing into such a fine man and we are soooooo proud of you. Even though you do have that SHARP temper. I don't know where you got that from? Probably Papaw Chuck, definately not from me! HAHA!!!!! Seriously the day you were born was a day that GOD blessed us more than we could ever deserve. We love you more than you could ever know and we are so proud of you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SON!
