Is my SON really a Senior???

I can not believe it but Johnathan received his grades and his schedule for next year. We are breathing easier because he is officially a Senior. It makes me sad he is growing up yet happy he passed at the same time. He is such a SMART fellow but he could care less about school work. He would rather have his teeth pulled than study. Maybe it is a boy thing! Who knows? Darrell said he was like that in school too. Believe me HE WAS like his son except Darrell had a girl on his mind--Yea that would be me! His mom said he took Missy 101 and Missy 102. You've heard it said "you reap what you sow." Johnathan does not have a girl on his mind it is MUSTANGS 101 and MUSTANGS 102. Being a mom I worry that he does not take academics more seriously. I pray that he makes wise decisions but ulitmately they are just that "his decisions." I can make him study and stay on him all the time. Believe me we do!!!!! I say all of this to say that I am so proud of my son and I know that the Lord has a wonderful plan for his life. Even if it does not include a book!!!!!
